Not Quite in Love

Nothing is ever certain. Right when we think we have things all figured out something happens that confuses us even more. Have you ever been there?
Love is a dynamic thing, you can't just fall into it. It's not like your just walking along one day and you just happen to plummet into this hole called love. True love is work. It requires patience, kindness, faithfulness, honesty, and understanding. Why do I use the "L" word so lightly then? That's exactly what I'm trying to figure out. We falsely advertise our feelings with this word, we use it like money to pay for what we want, most of all we've tainted love. When you decide to make that commitment to truly loving someone, make it real; but when your unsure, don't use it! It's time to refine true love, one person at a time, one mouth at a time, one usage at a time.

1 Corinthians 13:1-8 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends.
